The Star led to the Christ, follow it once again.
Challenge yourself to a deeper understanding. By recovering ancient systems of time keeping, the ‘Truth’ is vindicated.

Rene Decartes was studying Augustine when he came upon the words “I think, therefore I AM”. The very words Augustine used to approach a ‘real’ world founded upon the great I AM, God, Descartes used to establish an eternal paradox. Turning Augustine’s words against themselves, he used this phrase to prove that which is most self-evident, the reality of one’s ‘self’, the little ‘i am’. In this, Descartes severed the link between thought and the certainty of a concrete, knowable reality. He created a circular argument. In this new world all knowledge leads to self, all ‘self’ leads to knowledge, and on and on. From hence forth, reality itself would be reduced to a ‘myth’ for the only certainty became ‘self’ and the only truth ‘change’. It would only be a matter of time before Christianity was also reduced to a myth.

Descartes launched a revolution in thought, one that brought about the Enlightenment, leading to the age of modern science. But modern science itself has stalled. The path is wearing out. No significant new discoveries have been found in physics in fifty years. Newton’s gravitationally based universe has not enough energy to function, Einstein’s fix is failing. In an effort to save modern scientific theories, more and more bizarre solutions have been proposed, all by definition paradoxical and unthinkable. How does a so-called ‘revolution in science’, lead to the destruction of ‘truth’, the very thing it claims to be seeking? Research is beginning to show that not only is modern cosmology in doubt, but the doubt science once cast on religious belief is beginning to fade. As science returns to a more solid foundation, a clearer path to events of the past is emerging.

We've all heard the several deconstructions of the Christian narrative: Christmas is actually a Mithraic festival; Easter was derived from a pagan spring fertility feast; Christ himself is merely a more modern version of Hermes or Osiris. For the most part these 'theories' have gone unchallenged even by most Christians, until now. Through the use of ancient scientific techniques and by deciphering ancient clues particularly about 'time', the precise chronology of Christ can now be reconstructed shedding new light on many events of the Bible.
Tradition now has a new source of verification.

Gathered together in one volume are the significant findings of several scholars knit together so as to illuminate the accuracy of Tradition PLUS startling findings not found anywhere else.

"Constantly exploring the various ways denominations claim [or disclaim] the riches of the Christian tradition, and constantly investigating every discipline that might assist him in discovering the truth, Mr. Jones was not hindered by the narrow confines of academic disciplines or the official pronouncements of denominational executives... The Time of the Christ is a book worth reading for the Christian who seeks to recover the unified worldview of classical Christianity, but it is also worth reading for the skeptic who is dissatisfied with the prevailing Nihilism of modern thought."

The Rev. Arnold W. Klukas, Ph. D.
Professor of Liturgics and Ascetical Theology
Nashotah House Episcopal Seminary

"This book is a must read for all Christian theologians, seminarians, and laity. During the 20th century many evils arose due to a change in the philosophy of Christian theologians. The present Pope John-Paul II, through his study of philosophy, enabled the Polish people to inflict the death-wound in the Achilles heal of Communism. It was this that brought down the Bolshevik Revolution. This book inflicts a deadly wound upon the Modernism of current Christian philosophies that threaten the foundation of Orthodox Theology. I highly recommend this book to all Pastors of all Christian backgrounds especially Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox, Amen."

Yours in Christ God,
+ Archimandrite Fr. Anthony (Good)

"The Time of the Christ is laden with Scripture references and from his writing, it's obvious that the author is very intelligent. We highly recommend this book, especially to those persons looking for a deeper, different slant on Christ and Christianity."
